Hello,

I’ve downloaded the examsim-linux-1.01-setup and have tried to run this using:

“chmod a+x”

“./examsim-linux-1.01-setup”

But get the following errors:

This is meant to be run as an executable script, isn’t it? Please let me know if I’ve misunderstood something, and thanks for your time!

Not many programmers do the LPIC, it’s designed for sysadmins, not programming staff. Having said that, if you’re wanting to know more about Linux, just studying for the LPIC, not even taking it, can be very beneficial.

gotcha, thanks, in trying to focus on LPIC I did leave out the BSD’s and Solarii.

That’s a good information.
But I want to know the role of LPIC in the life of a programmer/developer (C/C++ or Java etc . .. ).
Plz share any of such cases (or) your experiences with me.
